Focus Lilac

I first tried this technique with greens and yellows and oranges, and had so much fun making the beads that I decided to try a second colorwave. This time, I worked with four shades of lilac and four shades of teal, applying interlocking circles to a slab of almost-black midnight blue clay.

After cutting beads from the first slab, I created two more generations of Focus Lilac beads from the scraps — one abstract backed with black, the other a Skinner blend graduating from dark to light lilac to teal. The Focus Lilac earrings presented here reflect all three generations. There is sure to be one pretty pair that you can’t live without!
